Articles will be assessed either by external experts, none of them part of the Universidad de Alcalá, or the editorial board. All the papers submitted will be evaluated at least by two experts whose opinion will be taken into account. As a last resort, the final decision about the article will be the sole responsibility of the editorial board.

The evaluation process is anonymous, since the identity of authors and of experts will stay hidden. For that reason, and in order to ensure openness and objectivity in the process, we ask contributors not to include information in their papers that could reveal their identity. Reviews and articles for the miscellaneous section would be accepted during the whole year. From the moment the paper is received, it should not take longer than four months until the contributors receive a message announcing whether the paper has been accepted or not.

Concerning the monographic dossier, the call for papers will be published through Pasavento and various communication and dissemination media. The deadline to submit the articles for the monographic dossier will vary between four and six months. Since then, no more than four months should go by until the contributors receive a message announcing whether the paper has been accepted or not.

Contributors will receive an e-mail from the editorial board explaining why their work has been accepted, rejected or has to be revised by the author. In our Statistical Section it is possible to check the amount of submitted and accepted papers of every issue of the magazine.

Papers should be submitted to the next e-mail address: redaccion@pasavento.com. For further information, check this section Guidelines for Contributors.
